Pickleball Tournaments Dot Com

As far as we can tell, almost everyone uses the Pickleball Tournaments website to do the front end registration for their tournament.  It removes  massive burden from tournament organizers, most of whom are volunteers or have other day jobs.

If MEC organized a tournament with less than 100 players, the total fees would appear to be about $300 or roughly $3 a player.  Let's say the base registration fee was similar to the Senior Games, $25.  Even if ME didn't charge a "per event" extra fee, it would appear the net to MEC would be around $2200, before other expenses.

The main thing that ME would have to do would be to set up a dedicated PayPal account so registration fees could be credited to that account.

We will discuss more about this in subsequent posts here but at least this is enough to get you started.
